Introversion – Paimon

Introversion has been pushing techno forward on labels like Arts and Fundaments for a couple of years, and now he is focused on his own new label Makatao. This is his, and the label's, second outing and once again it probes at the deeper end of the spectrum. 'Get Out' is a stopped back wall of sound with rolling kicks and echoing pads coming on like a tsunami. 'Paimon' has some melodic nuance that brings interest to more supersized kicks and unrelenting forward motion and 'Covington' then cuts loose with the most raw textures and flailing rhythm of the lot. Disguised steps it back to a swampy, dubby kicker.
