Its magnetic center is a piledriving four-to-the-floor kick and finely chiseled percussion set to the backdrop of Flaminia’s whisper. Her voice takes the lead on the B-side, becoming the clipped and chorus-like refrain on “Carpe Noctem”—a gnarled broken beat punctuated by distortion and psychedelic riffs. 47032 closes with “Tenebra,” a breakneck drum & bass-indebted cut that combines gated synths with Flaminia’s breathy vocals for a minimally constructed yet highly addictive dance track.
