Rydm Sectors – Soul Collective

Cosmic Rhythm's in-house 'dream team' of label boss Nicola Laporchio (AKA Cosmic Garden and Nico Lahs) and regular contributor Michele Lamacchia (Rhythm of Paradise, 34th Floor Experience) rarely fails to impress. Their latest EP as Rydm Sectors, their first outing of 2023, is another doozy, with all four tracks being primed for peak-time house floors. They begin with the chunky, thickset, synth sax-sporting title track, a sweat-soaked and bass-heavy riff on classic New Jersey garage-house with an added early morning twist, before exploring Don Carlos-esque waters on the loved-up excellence of 'Be There'. 'Feeling You' is a drowsy, saucer-eyed riff on mid-tempo Italo-house of the early 90s, while 'Bring Me Tonite' is an atmospheric new jersey deep house shuffler.
