Pily – Orca EP

It's not hard to ascertain the intention when Pily debuts a label called Parti Pillz and turns to sampling the likes of Lady Miss Kier from Dee-Lite. This is minimal created with swagger, attitude and an instinct for unleashing the inner freak, not least on the excellent 'Sane Membrane'. As well as the steadfast house structure there's space for subtle, breaks-minded roll and some unexpected narrative swerves, ensuring the dance is going to get tweaked out good and proper when these formidable offerings get dropped in the club.
