D'Julz – Est. 1992 EP Remixes

D'Julz's 'Est 1992 EP' was a collection of deliberately nostalgic cuts inspired by his earliest days as a producer. This companion remix EP sees a quartet of producers give their spin on the very same tracks, adding a dash of 21st century flavour. Janeret steps up first to wrap meandering acid lines and shimmering chords around a deep bassline and rolling breakbeat house beats on a fine revision of 'Highway', before Huerta delivers a more bumpin', US deep house-influenced take on the very same track. Jorge Saveretti joins the dots between New Jersey deep house and more jacking Chicago flavours on his revision of 'Your Mom's Fave D'', while Francesco Farfi's re-wire of 'Est 1992' is a bouncy, trance-inducing mid-90s style workout rich in stabbing acid bass, glassy-eyed melodic motifs and psychedelic intent.
