Parisian dance artist Gunnter is sure to impress with his latest contribution to his own Normandy Records, texturally outdoing a lot of his contemporaries who also work in the same sort of 'aquatic acid' that has seen much fame in recent years. 'Mental Reset' is the deepest and slipperiest of the lot, with its woodblock snares and short-decaying trance lines, while 'Cafe Cheri' is our follow-up favourite, nailing a real sense of cuteness with its deep exhalation sounds and slow, Modjo-esque builds.
