Working between Paris and Montreal, B.McQueen and Priori shape these two tracks with the ease of artists who know how to turn circumstance into spark. 'Allergic' begins in a near-empty Paris flat, the kind of space where sound bounces strangely and ideas tighten into focus. A tossed-off voice note - "allergic to wasps" - becomes a motif, flickering through a low-slung chug that wobbles at the edges like it's running a mild fever. 'Get Weavin'' carries a different charge: the afterglow of a long night at fabric, filtered through Montreal light and Raphael Weikart's flute lines. What we're left with is a psychedelic swing that keeps reforming at the margins, as if the rhythm is still trying to dance its way out of the club.
