Ignez brings rocky visuality to 'Remixes', his new Somov 12" namechecking Rodhad, Sterac, O Phase and Mathys Lenne. With cover art going for a natural lithic form - comparable to a deeper techno basis than the usual metaphor of the industrial factory - these are igneous ear-eroders indeed. Berkovi, whose career stretches back to the 90s, continues to mine the shaft, himself contributing a reimagining of 'Step Up'.
