Lewis Fautzi & The Advent ‎– Gravity Wont Hold Me

Portuguese master of architechno Lewis Fautzi makes underground root-links with veteran UK producer The Advent with 'Gravity Won't Hold Me', a four-track 12" through Fautzi's Faut Section label. It's a meeting that makes historical sense: Fautzi's catalogue has long bowed toward cosmic austerity, while Cisco Ferreira's work as The Advent helped define both the metallic mambo of 90s techno-electro. Their joining builds on that commons, twisting pressure into aerated space on 'Graviton Field' and 'Deep Sector', then compressing everything into the terse strobe-blink of 'Echoes Of The Void'. It sounds like Ferreira has been revisiting old hard-disk archives from his Internal/Tresor years, as some of here's textures feel like those remnants reanimated.
