Idu Berg & Mython – Headless

Idk Berg and MYTHON have appeared on the same Eps before, but only various artists' offerings, while this is their first fully fledged collaboration. It's a techno masterclass steep in atmosphere and rhythmic depth, starting with dubby and rolling drums of 'Headless'. 'DC Lanes' brings some Millsian synth layers that speak to distant corners of space, while 'Nerevarine' has more light in it with deft melodies and a sense of optimism in the loops. 'Semantics' shuts down with a darker energy and more moody undercurrent. Four well-sculpted and heady tools.
