DisX3 – Resonance Studies EP

Alexander Kowalski assumes his legendary DisX3 alias for this latest return to Mord, and it's an unrelenting assault of techno intensity. 'Binary Structures' is full of grit and grime - the overdriven automation of an old factory in meltdown. 'Lost Coordinates' mangles metal and churns synth daubs up into a dense world of rhythm and percussion that only grows more frenzied. 'Resonance Studies' pulls back a little - there drums still roll with force, but there's more room for the searching synth pulses and ghostly vocals to make their own impact. 'Oscillating Matter' shuts down with more warehouse-ready techno that's dank, deep and designed for full-bodied reactions.
