Night Format launches its first release with 'NFV001', as label founders Night Format (BRNT & Five Alive), come joined by remixers Perc and Acerbic. 'Doxycycline' leads as the stripped, whirring techno clapper, itself built from classic elements filtered through modern weight and movement, while A2 'Melancholy' stealth breath with UWB hyperspeed - the most exciting of the lot. On the flip, Perc twists 'Doxycycline' into an industrial hammer, relentless and all-flattening, while Acerbic reshapes 'Melancholy' with thundering low end, staccato hi-hats, and steel-trussing stab design, shot through huge shafting reverb.
