Frenk Dublin – ECHO LTD 014 EP

Amsterdam dub techno craftsman Frenk Dublin rolls out 'Echo Ltd 014', the latest in his string of rime-caked, cavernous explorations for the eponymous label. Coaxial coaxings of ghostly atmospheres are lured from analog gear, keeping it raw over four tracks drenched in tape hiss and and swirling thermic delay. The record sounds like an ice core pulled from a Bering Strait floe, each cut - 'Northern Light', 'Ring Of Kafrene' - tracing a slow, thudding, glacial collapse under a surface layer of frostpunk fantasy: hot signal, sirens, and cave reverbs galore.
