UK-based Hurdslenk makes straight-up techno funk and does it for top drawer labels only. It is the Dutch outlet V35 that welcomes him next for four more high-grade weapons. 'Warped' comes on strong with potent drum and bass tsunamis washing over you while the synths surge up top. 'Recheck' is more stripped back, a rumbling mix of cantering drums and booming bass topped with strobe-lit flashes. 'Vyrex' brings more dynamic movement this time with an edgy cosmic twist and anxious unresolved loops before 'Rider' bangs the box with its loopy ringlets, urgent pulses and sophisticated techno power.
