Fabrizio Lapiana – Isabel

A decade on from the passing of Max_M, an artist, friend and the mind behind M_Rec Ltd, Attic Music honours his legacy with a special repress of Isabel by Fabrizio Lapiana featuring Max_M and including Reeko's remix. Originally released in March 2015, just months before his untimely death, this 12" opens with the fizzy synth layers and nagging throb of 'Dfract. It is flipped into another loopy, textural techno sounds that traps you in the beer and now by Reeko and then comes Max M's version. It's a hallucinogenic, tunnelling deep techno roller that leaves you disoriented. 'Overlap' is a dark closer with a slower, more suspenseful rhythm designed to prang you out.
