Hyden – Subduct EP

Hyden returns to Maison Close Records with a razor-sharp EP that pushes the limits of percussive, mental techno. Precision-engineered but still retaining a wildness, each track strikes a balance between intensity and subtle sonic detail. They all stay true to the Parisian label's immersive, stripped-back aesthetic and start with 'Ekyo', which drives deep with gloppy bass growls. 'Pan Con Ajo' is a hallucinogenic gem with bubbly synths and hissing hi-hats. 'Balance' is where hypnotic grooves, emotional tension and refined textures collide and 'Vohlista' brings a nicely unhinged closer with tightly controlled chaos designed to move both body and mind.
