Vinicius Honorio – Stark Reality

Brazilian-born London producer Vinicius Honorio steps out for his first release on Setaoc Mass's SK Eleven imprint with 'Stark Reality', a tightly wound quart of shadowy shirkers and industrial intuitions. Known for but a few outings on Planet Rhythm and his own Liberta Records, Honorio continues to hone a bleak, percussive sound, one just as suited to fogged out basements as it is to psychrometric gardens. 'Edge Of Sorrow' and 'Take As Gospel' lean into a hums ghost-layered sheets, with lambent synth sequences and drums serving the vibe of a slow-rolling avalanche.
