Utroit & K.O.S – Oubaitori EP

The Mitsubasa label deals only in high-class techno of exactly the sort that Uproot and Kos serve up in collaboration here. 'Oubaitori' is a high speed bumper with Detroit-style chords racing over the sleek drums. 'Motegi' is a little more physical and jacked up with heavier hits and machine guns firing out the percussion while 'Jaga?' gets more dubby though is no less speedy. 'Kamiki' shuts down with hyperactive loops shimmering across the face of the track. A varied and vital EP for sure.
