Orbe – El Bosque De La Niebla

We have always admired the seductive techno sounds of Sverca's Semantica label. It's hypnotic and deep but never lacks oomph. Spaniard Orbe is the latest addition to the label family with his El Bosque de la Niebla EP. We'd love to know what the compass points are that are captured in his track titles but the music is more than intriguing on its own. '36O0'52 N' tunnels deep with grainy chords and deep sonar pulses over linear drums. The same smooth, seductive template is tweaked over ensuing tracks always with a sense of mistiness and a suggestion that otherworldly mysteries are just around the corner.
