Berlin trio ItaloJohnson have mastered the art of making high-class party music. Their material always bangs but never lacks a characterful edge that elevates it above mere tool status. The 16th such offering is another hand stamped 12" that more than does the business. There is an amped up 90s feel to the pumping house opener, 'Track 2' slips into a more slinky and dub but still punchy house groove with tribal hits and drippy synth sounds then last of all comes a heads-down minimal tech stomper. Another vital collection from these Berlin boys.
