Silat Beksi – Indigo EP

Silat Beksi is one of the most prolific Ukrainian artists operating in the minimal tech house scene, and following recent link ups with the likes of Rawax and Sous-Vide he's back on his own Modeight label with another batch of high grade groovers. There's a lot to enjoy about Beksi's sound as he tours through a strain of minimal which feels rooted in the mid-00s explosion around labels like Trapez, but equally you can hear the odd sprinkling of hip-hop sampling giving some extra swagger to the tracks while there's plenty of subtlety and depth in the production to let you know this is a modern offering.
