Part three of M.A.D's fifth anniversary series brings four producers with rich club pedigrees out the kennel. London deep house stalwart Medlar opens with one-of-one, cryptosonic speed garage, while Father Sheed unfuzzies the rhythmic logic on 'Pancumbia' for a deswung electro ride. Kenny Blacksmith adds a deft, floating-grounded work recalling his many ambient house and techno nights spun for London's SlothBoogie, while Dim City closes with a Sylenth-happy sawtooth tab-taker, 'Pure Emotion'. Clearly, the M.A.D house has much respect to classic deep house and rave structures, and an equal parts willingness to twist them.
