Unknown – Sun After Rain

Flightslip is an unknown artist who brings some hard-to-define cosmic magic to this latest outing on their own self-titled label. 'Sun After Rain' kicks off with what is ostensibly a minimal tech house groove, but delightfully embellished with celestial melodies and sprinkled with disco dust. That carefully straddling of two distinct worlds carries on with B-side jam 'Can't Stop The Feeling'. This one has deep, dusty drums swinging low while deft melodies and pads float up top to bring lightness next to a burning soul sample that any real house heads will recognise and love.
