Unknown – Tommy's Diner EP

A one-off catalogue addition and remix ram-raider on Celsius, the soulful liquid arm of Rotterdam's Fokuz, at this business since 1999. Unknown Artist has to be the most prolific, influential artist of all time: but appearently the inner Fokuz sanctum is wise enough to their identity to have at least released with them several times over. 'Tommy's Diner' and 'Woo Hah!' serve deep-dish platefuls of Suzanne Vega and discotheque-wrecking Busta Rhymes flippage, while 'Fastest Car' elicits sly smiles for its melancholic Tracy Chapman hosedown, and 'On The Other Side' renders Erykah Badu faint against a still-slamming roller.
