D5 – Edward Edits

Edward taps into his archives for this new Delsin EP. It finds him unearthing a bunch of personal DJ edits from classic D5 material and then serves up some fresh reinterpretations. His iconic tracks retain their original essence but get a contemporary wash, starting with the feathery light pads and dubby deepness of 'Compumotion'. 'The Deep' has a percolating baseline that brings some late-night funk to alien pads, and 'Dark City' is then a sparse world with analogue kicks reverberating beneath deft motifs. It's sub-aquatic and sparse but impactful. 'Network' shuts down with even more underwater signifies - bubbling pads, liquid bass, and a serene sense of motion that could roll for days and never get tired.
