Havana / Sigmatibet – Eclypse / Rotom

Mineral Cuts once again comes through with a big house reissue this time with one cut each by Havana and Sigma Tibet. On the A-side is Havana's 'Eclypse', a turbocharged, rave-influenced and retro banger with massive drums, acid lines and glossy, euphoric pads all bring the party like it was 1991. Sigma Tibet's 'Rotom' is also indebted to the old school with its neat piano chords but this one is more smooth and zoned out, with rubbery kicks and a far-sighted feeling of dreaminess. Two classics for the collection for sure.
