'Plastic Humanoid', the lead cut on their latest must-check missive, leans in to this by combining familiar elements from Jaydee's 'Plastic Dreams' with waves of TB-303 trickery and robotic vocals lifted from Humanoid's UK acid house gem 'Stakker Humanoid'. It's a fine and well worked blend all told. 'A Fine Day 2 Panic', meanwhile, combines the heady dreaminess of Opus II's 'It's a Fine Day' (including the vocals famously sampled by Orbital on 'Halcyon') with bustling breakbeats, razor-sharp rave riffs and hands-aloft piano stabs.
