Rave-R attest their years' worth of rave x-perience with a belt-driven redo of 'Freed From Desire', the one-hit wonderwork by Eurodance flash production troupe Gala. "Na na na na..." goes the rather easily identifiable lead vocal line, but here the latter longstanding production outfit and label reshape the song to their own elastoplastic ends, setting a mould of hard-toothed rave stabs and extrusive breaks. The follower 'X-Pansion' expands on the Xpansions' 'Move Your Body', an equally hard sintered 90s kernel of sound from the sound's colourful, yellow-grinning heyday.
